Occasional Vomiting and loose stools
My 3 year old son had vomiting two days back early in the morning four times and he was advised emecet syrup. Doctor examined him and told it is gastritis and gave junior lanzol and nutrolin B. Then he had loose stools and mild fever.. yesterday evening fever subsided and he was fine. Today again he vomited after eating food.. what is the problem.. kindly advise..

Continue emset syp for vomit..
Give zinc syp and probiotic for loose stool....

He is having acute gastroenteritis and needs specific treatment for it.
For vomiting your medicine is ok. Bit may need some antimicrobial for treating stomach infection.

give plenty of fluids including oral rehydration solution and avoid bottle feeding if you are giving .

general hygiene , use boiled water for drinking. give home made foods like dal, rice, curd, fruits , vegetable soups etc.

Hi...This looks like Acute Gastroenteritis, stomach upset to put it in simple words.
Next Steps
Continue the same line of treatment. Avoid eating outside food. Maintain sanitation properly. Give syp ondem half and hour before feeds. Give ORS to the child after every vomitus.

Look for signs of dehydration like lethargy, increased thirst etc. Show your doctor if these symptoms are present.
