Occasional rectal discharge
I am 32 year old working individual. I have been diagnosed with chronic anal fissure 6 years back. More than the pain, the discharge from my rectum was more bothering and irritating. Sigmoidoscope was performed and clearly indicated a cut in my rectum. I have used standard medication for few months (sitz bath, and Smuth cream)and everything subsided. But every now and then I keep getting discharge from my anus (may be once/twice in a day and sometimes never for few months). When ever I get discharge it is very irritating and difficult to concentrate. Doctor told that anal fissure is a recurrent problem and whenever I feel itchy bottom I was advised to use the cream. It is just a temporary solution. I am seeking a long term solution. I have no other issues, bowel movement is regular, there is no pain or burning sensation when I pass my bowel. I workout every day. I am healthy and fit. Please help!

Care AI Shimmer
Constipation triggers anal fissure. If u avoid that u may be symptom free. High fibre diet (salads fruits and multigrain cereals) Increase water intake to 3-4lts per day will help. Lactifibre powder can be continued for long.
