Iam a 30 year old male with very less physical activities. Iam currently 130kgs. I am on medication for tonic clonic seizures (oxetol 300 for morning and 450 for night). Iam currently not having time to go to a gym or workout. Please suggest how I can reduce weight without working out.

Weight loss is definitely possible even if you don’t have time for the gym. In fact, diet plays the biggest role.
At 130 kg, it’s important to first rule out conditions that can contribute to weight gain, such as hypothyroidism, diabetes, sleep apnea, or side effects of medications. Oxcarbazepine (Oxetol) is not usually associated with significant weight gain, but your neurologist should review your treatment before any weight-loss medication is considered.
Here are a few practical steps:
* Reduce sugar, sweets, sugary drinks, and refined carbohydrates (white rice, maida, bakery items).
* Increase protein intake (dal, eggs, paneer, fish, chicken) and include plenty of vegetables.
* Eat smaller portions and avoid late-night snacking.
* Even if you can’t exercise, try to stay active by walking for 10–15 minutes after meals, using stairs when possible, or taking short movement breaks during the day.
