Prolonged Numbness feeling on my right hand palm. Infrequent back pains. I have been on pant acids for a year now. Could it be related to gastritis?

Dear friend, The numbness in the palm is due to nerve compression. pls consult an orthopaedic surgeon. The treatment might be as simple as physiotherapy and rest to the limb. As far as gastritis is concerned it is not adviceable to take plenty of antacid tablets. pls follow life style modification and dietary control for gastritis. 1) avoid alcohol, smoking and spicy food 2) Take regular small frequent meals rather than irregularly dumping the stomach fully. 3) DO not eat anything 1 hr before sleeping. 4) stress can also lead to gastritis. so avoid stress. hope this helps. regards

Hello..... One hand numbness is not related to gastritis or medicine for gastritis.. Pressure application on blood vessels decreases blood flow and cause numbness.. It's physiological but if you have continued numbness of palm you have to consult general physician...
