Not responding to his name
My child is 18 months old. He is healthy, very active, shout and play. He can climb, eye contact is good, biorhythms are good, no problem in feeding him, he talks only few words like ma, cow, ee, oo, ka and pa for now. If we introduce new things he will explore it well. He can scribble on Wall, he will blabber on seeing newspapers or books.  We are worried for few things that he is not responding to his name. He is very adamant, if he want anything but we refuse to give the same he shout and cry a lot, it is very hard to handle him at that moment.  These two things bother us a lot. Whether this is normal for 18 months old baby.

Seems normal overall. He should respond to his name though. There must be something else like he doesn't want to respond to his name. He is throwing temper tantrums it looks like. Please refer to IAP parental guidelines on temper tantrums.
