Dear Practo user I can understand bur concern... Milk is not the only option for meeting ur calcium requirement..There are lots of vegans and lactose intolerant people surviving with out milk intake..It's all about u customising ur daily intake as per RDA. You can consume eggs , fish, fermented milk products, ragi, leafy veggies etc .Along On top of it maintain dental hygiene too. Hi, don't worry if you avoid milk you won't be calcium deficit, try soya non flavoured milk instead. And use curd, buttermilk, green leafy vegetables more in your daily diet. Along with this you need to avoid other foods also to relieve your gastric problem like carbonated beverages, spicy masala foods, tea or coffee not more than a 2 times per day.

Hello. There are many other foods which are rich in calcium, so it’s alright to avoid milk. You can include curd, paneer, dry fruits, nuts, green leafy veggies on a regular basis to help improve your calcium intake. Take Lactose free milk / soya milk if available, it is easier to digest.
Health Tips
Avoid taking any medication or supplement without expert advice or prescription.
