Insomnia, especially when it hits multiple nights in a short span, can severely affect your daily functioning. Since you've had 3 out of 7 nights with no sleep at all, that’s a red flag — particularly when it's starting to affect your routine even though you're exercising, which is typically sleep-promoting.
Next Steps
You can try melatonin (2–5 mg) at night 30–60 mins before bedtime for 2–3 nights — it's generally safe for short-term use unless you have a medical contraindication. But don't continue it without supervision.
Health Tips
1. Are you experiencing stress, anxiety, or overthinking lately? 2. Are you taking any medications or supplements? 3. What is your typical daily schedule, including bedtime and wake-up time? 4. Any history of thyroid issues, depression, or sleep disorders?
