Not getting 6/6
My optometrist gave -4.5D n -4D power in both eyes... But I can not see 6/6 using them , I can only see 6/9... He says My eyes can't get to 6/6.. Why he says so? Is there any optic nerve damage or retina damage in my eyes?? What should I do to preserve my eye? Plz help, thanks... I HAVE myopia Since Childhood n squint Eye also...

Not everyones standard vision is 6/6 , 6/9 is normal for certain people. Its a good vision. For amblyopia theres ahs to be one line difference between 2 eyes. So dont worry. If the refractive errors bothering you, you can also get contact lenses or lasik done.
Next Steps
regular retinal check ups from ophthalmologist every year once .

There is a condition called amblyopia or lazy eye . Inspite of complete correction of error still vision might not be 6/6. Squint, high refractive errors can cause it.. nothing to do for it now..just continue using glasses.
