Not eating any type food

Asked for Female, 1 Years

Hi doctor, We consultant with one pediatric.he suggested cyproheptadine syrup. Asked to give half and hour before having food. But then also not eating properly any kind of food(tried banana, apple, cow milk, ceralac etc). Seriously we are so worried about it. Could you please provide to resolve this problem.

Hi. Most of the kids refuse to eat food . This is the complaint of 99% mothers. This fussy eating is normal in young child. We can check the weight and height of the child and if it is normal then nothing to worry. I don't recommend cyproheptadine syrups for decreased appetite as it has side effects.
