Not able to walk freely

My dad from the past one month he was not able to walk properly. Actually his right leg was not supporting him to walk. He is dragging it instead of stepping. Please suggest a treatment that he need to take

Hello....... Haven't you showed him to hospital, he has this problem since one month.. Complete neurological examination and MRI spine is required to see if there is disc prolapse or some other problem...take him to neurologist in nearest hospital.....
