Nasal polyposis is a common condition in nose which can lead to loss of sense of smell which is known as anosmia. Polyps are initially treated by oral steroid tablets and nasal steroid drops which many times shrinks the polyp and gets back sense of smell. If medicines fail then surgery might be required
