Water is most probably trapped between a ball of wax and your eardrum. Please use this app to search for an ENT Specialist in your town/city and go and consult him immediately.

Hi There might be some wax already in the ear and with water going into the ear the wax could have become more liquid like blocked the ear canal.Ask someone in the house to look into the ear if they are able to see brownish wax then better visit an ENT surgeon for ear cleaning
Next Steps
Visit an ENT near by for ear cleaning.
