Is nasal packing and splints compulsory after septoplasty . i am taking about septoplasty not rhinoplasty

Good evening! Nasal packing prevents you from complications like bleeding and septal buldge And nasal pack timings depends on the surgeon! Its a part of the procedure

Different surgeon have different opinion Some use to pack both nostril nd some use to pack only operative site some r not doing nasal packing in septoplasty

yes defenitely becuase after surgery the nose may bleed, and for septal flaps approximation the nostrils have to be packed
