Nose block and breathing problem

Hi, I have been suffering from frequent nose block and brething issue. Today I went to hospital and doctor asked for a surgery . I have attached the surgery name . Can any one please tell me the reason for this surgery and is it safe ?

There must be indication for the surgery thats why he advised surgery, its absolutely safe and produce good results in experienced hands but like any procedure this procedure also carries some risks. If u upload the ct scan photo and nasal endoscopy picture then will be able to give u a better comment.
