The level of bilirubin is completely normal for the baby.  Recheck bilirubin after 3 days again. If the trend is decreasing no need for further follow up. For long distance routes flights can be taken

The bilirubin 12 is acceptable for 3kg well baby on day 8 and does not require treatment with phototherapy. Since it's on a decreasing trend, better to follow up with the paediatrician after 3days or so since no other risk factors as per your reports. No treatment would be needed upto 15mg. As regarding travel, flight is ok too, but better to feed the baby both while take off.
Next Steps
next check up after 3 days or so and next after a week or so as per the paediatrician suggests
