Non stop cough for 4 year old
My baby girl is 4 year old .she is suffering from gastroenteritis and fever for past 4 days.today there is no fever she is doing well .but from evening she had non stop cough and that leads to vomiting.my daughters pediatrician not prescribed any medicine for cold cough every time we go.what I do for this cough any remedies or any syrup.

Can't rule out by just short history... Obtain chest xray and then can say... Continuous coughing bouts says a lot.

dry cough vigorously coughing sometime can cause problem so look seriously and consult nearest doctor. as an intensivist we have to look for any foreign body, but at least chest xray should be suggestive and looks for bilateral chest sound auscultation.
