No sense of smell

Asked for Female, 23 Years

Its been almost 6 years my friend is unable to detect any odor. She can't even detect strong odors like burning smell, perfume etc. Please suggest something accordingly.

If your friend is unable to detect any odour for 6 years it is very unlikely that treatment will cause any improvement after such a long time. Only if on clinical examination it is evident that there are bilateral nasal polyps, then further investigations and treatment may be tried.
