Your baby’s heartbeat, also known as fetal heart tones (FHT), will become audible sometime during the first trimester. Your baby’s heart will probably start beating at around 6 weeks, but can’t normally be detected, even with a Doppler, until at least 10 weeks, and it is even more common to first hear it between 12 and 14 weeks. How early the baby’s heartbeat can be detected depends on several variables, including your weight, the baby’s position within your uterus, and how accurately your due date was calculated. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance
