No difficulty breathing but oxygen is 81
Hello my father was having fever from past 4 5 days. He is cured of fever but is oxygen kevel is showing 81 84 85 not more than 90. He has not problem in breathing ir anything symptom of low oxygen but still it showing low oxygen. Kindly guide me on this

Could be a case of silent hypoxia. Get the given investigation done asap. Chest xray, CRP, D Dimer, ESR, S LDH, S Ferritin, IL 6. Also is he diabetic or suffering from any other chronic illness?

Its a happy hypoxia where pt physically alright bu saturation will be dropping this is dangerous of all Requires immediate admission start with treatment

Get a RTPCR, and consult a doctor as soon as possible and urgent treatment is required. Get a cbc, Crp and d dimer done and hrct is also advised.
