Newborn is passing stool frequently

Asked for Female, 3 Years

My son is 21 days old. From past 2 days he is passing frequent small stools. Stool is yellow in color and grainy in structure. He is having gas also. Whenever he passes the gas little bit of stool is also passed. It is happening 7-8 times in a day.

If your baby is gaining weight, has no symptoms like crankiness, decreased urine output, excessive drowsiness then can ignore. If you're breastfeeding this can be breast fed stools. If persists then consult a doctor
