New ear lobe piercing (three days old)

Asked for Female, 18 Years

I got my ear lobe piercing three days ago and want to remove the piercing, so that the hole can close on its own. Although, I am scared to remove the piercing as it could get infected. There is a little bit of clear fluid coming out. If I remove the piercing I am scared that the hole will get infected, how can I prevent this, but remove the piercing at the same time.

You can go ahead and remove the piercing and apply some over the counter antiseptic creams to the area of the piercing for few days. Usually it will close in a week without much problem
