Nevus Sebaceous
I have 1 small lump in my right side head (scalp) since my birth but now in last 1 month it's spread in 3/4 area within to that old lump area, my age 33. I have visited doctor and as advise by doctor it is 'Nevus Sebaceous' & doctor said it can be removed by normal surgery so whether 'Nevus Sebaceous' can be removed only in Surgery or any ointment can remove it? Shall i opted for Surgery or just keep it as it is. If, i keep it as it's then whether any chances of Cancer/ tumour in future

ointment doesn't help. can be removed surgically only. can be left untouched also. or you can do hair transplant over the patch to conceal it. rarely, cancerous changes can develop sometimes.... but cannot predict when. hope this is helpful.
