Systemic lupus erythematosus is an auto-immune condition and can present with various manifestations. It can involve multiple organs and hence screening should be done. The treatment has to be in consultation with few specialist and one of them (usually a Rheumatologist) will be the primary physician. Detail discussion and guidance will be needed and it is better you meet a Rheumatologist.
