Neogadine and stomach acid

Asked for Female, 20 Years

I have inflammation in my small intestine and erosive gastritis. I was on antacids and now i want to stop them as its been 3 mnths and im switching to ayurvedic medication . But my neogadine syrup is left so im thinking to fininsh it then start my alternate medication. So que is - Q- can neogadine increase acid secretion? Can i take it without antacids ? As i had stomach and intestinal inflammation

Neogadine usually does not cause Gastritis. But any medicine can sometimes cause Gastritis but this is very rare. What MEDICINES are you taking for Gastritis. Inadequate Treatment often leads to non resolution of Gastritis.
