Nenotal jaundice
On 12th oct I have gone through c section nd my baby boy was born my self rh negative with O negative group and my baby O positive group direct combos of my baby is negative and indirect combos which was taken in 28 th week of pregnancy was negative after tht I have taken two dose of anti d injection now on 1st day of birth his billrubin was ok but in 4th day he got total billrubin as 15.9 after he was kept in phototherapy fr 48 hrs as per doctor suggestion after it was reduced to 11.4 then again on last Sunday from different test centre with different biological reference he was having 12.1 as total billrubin with less than 12 as biological reference after we were continuing  liv52 and vitamin d3 daily and yesterday again lft and cbp  hemoglobin was 16.3 and lft was 12.7 it increased with ggt levels as 326 and indirect billrubin is 11.8.and direct is 0.9 so my doctor told to use gardenal syrup but when I search internet it is fr seizures will it reduce jaundice please suggest

What's the age of the child.? 11.8 is not very high. It will come down by its own no need to worry. Just breastfeed adequately and give sunlight exposure. I don't think gardenal is needed.

Hello, gardenal syrup is also used to reduce bilirubin levels in neonatal jaundice. So it can be used , no need to worry.
