Because number of cases are are asymptomatic they don't develope lymphatic disease. So people don't report it. More prevalent in States like Bihar... Kerala....uttar pradesh.

It's a tropical disease and prevalence of disease is common in certain areas of India, coastal part of Karnataka etc. It is not a neglected disease. There are so many patients who receive treatment for the disease daily in areas where prevalence is high.
