Negative upts and no periods.
I'm late by 21 days and all upts have come up as negative. I have done meprate course for 5 days and still don't have my periods. I've been sexually active but always used protection. Could I be pregnant.

Hi, I am Dr Vivek. I understand that you have missed a cycle. And you have done UPTs which are negative. First I want to know when was the last UPT done. Secondly, as we know that UPT as based on hormone levels in the urine. So there can be false negatives but multiple tests having same result in less likely. Another possibility is not having enough levels of the hormones which is resulting in negatives. Again this possibility is rare. Although the chances of pregnancy is rare understanding the circumstances. I am more concerned about the delay in cycle if it is not due to pregnancy. For now, may be wait for a few days to check if the period resumes and if it is not, then consult.
