Need to check reasons for higher CRP

Asked for Female, 29 Years

CRP value is 15.75, i need to know what could be the cause of it? Haven't done Covid test yet and do not have any symptoms for the same. Need to known the reason and what we can do to reduce it?

Crp is a non specific indicator of any infective or inflammatory process inside the body. Covid is also a kind of infection which can cause increasd in CRP. But exact cause needs to found. Other investigations will help lik cbc, procalcitonin. Further examination will help in resolving the issue. If no other issue found. Try repeating it after two or three weeks, it might go down on its own.
