Need test suggestions for Mucor
Hello sir, need your inputs 🙏🙏 Name: Patient Age: 33 Gender: Male Covid history: April 7th- April 28th 2021 Dental problem: I am having pain in most of the upper tooth, mostly left side. This includes pain in gums above those tooth. It feels like something stuck in those gums and needs to pin needle and kick out something. There is no redness of the gums. Little burning sensation in hard palates. These all happening since last 2 weeks. Contacted a local dentist, he cleaned the tooth but still same feeling. X-ray shows nothing. Apart from these, there is no other symptoms like headache, nasal blockage, one side facial numbness. Currently I have developed alot of acnes on my face since last 3 weeks. HBA1C: 5.9 Could this be Mucormycosis? If yes, can nasal endoscopy detect this? I want to avoid radiation based test as I already had multiple CT scan during covid. Please suggest any other tests if available. TIA
