Few weeks back i had recurrent throat infections, and after the 2nd infection i developed cough.
It was bad enough i was coughing like a dog for one day, it eventually reduced but since it was not reducing i showed it to an ent who gave my amoxyclav, and on the third day, when i woke up i coughed thick yellow phlegm, coming from the chest. When i tried to force it out and clear some phlegm came out with blood tinged, it was not pure blood but mixed with mucus.
But after that incident, post that all my phlegm or cough, was normally clear/white phlegm or a bit frothy and so on but no blood.
After that i consulted a pulmonologist he asked me to take pulmoclear tablet which is a bronchodilator for 3 days 2x times. I took that, the cough has reduced greatly but it has not gone away completely. In the morning after i wake up i cought a bit slight clear mucus comes out then i need to clear my throat that time too clear phlegm comes out.
Scared of xray cuz my aunt ws dignosed with cancer :(
