Nasty resistant fungal infection?
I've been having this problem since more than 8weeks.. I first noticed a round red lesion beside my umbilicus with hollow in centre with tiny blisters in the periphery. Then after few days I noticed a very very itchy rash in my groin and also my sternal area including inframammary region. The rash is red with ill borders and red and scaly. I've already applied candid cream followed by candid-B cream nothing worked! Then I started with terbinafine 1% cream topical but I think there's no difference. Plus now this nasty thing has involved the areas on my face, especially the perioral region and my nasal bridge... Im very much fed up with this..please suggest me something.. I'll be grateful to you. Thanks

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
Next Steps
Your dermatologist will decide a treatment plan for you after a consultation.
