Nasal polyposis for longer duration is mostly due to inflammation of mucosa of nose and sinuses that produces increased secretion.
Thus the main treatment for nasal polyposis is either medical or surgical polypectomy.
Medical polypectomy includes tittering dose of steroid. Apart from these temporary relief can be given by decongestants nasal drop for 5 days maximum.
