Narrowed corpus cavernosum
While getting an erection, by physical examination I noticed that my penile Upper half section from the middle of the shaft, is suddenly became narrow from the middle. Like more blood flows only till the middle of the penis shaft, after that very less blood flow. I can feel the difference, or a slope like structure in the middle of the shaft from where it got narrowed. I also went USG test for penis for any calcification, but the report clear mentioned that there is no calcification in the penis. I am worried than why suddenly upper-half of the shaft is norrowed. Please suggest correct treatment. Attached the diagram of the penile structure with narrowed tube from the middle.

Penile Doppler test with injection of prostaglandin into erectile bodies, will show whether blood flow is reduced in distal half. That is called Gitte’s artificial erection test. If at all there is narrowing of blood vessels, we can improve with smooth muscle relaxants on penile arteries. There is a condition called Peyronie’s plaque which becomes prominent during Gitte’s test. Physical examination during artificial erection can show root cause of problem. Hence consulting a qualified Superspecialist andrologist is necessary.
