Last week i had a eye check up which revealed that my prescription of RE has increased by 0.5Dsph over one year.. so doc prescribed me new power for RE for my glasses.. but he made me read the chart with my prev power which is actually less than my present power(undercorrection) and wrote RE for 6/6P but if i was made to read the chart with perfect correction it would definitely be 6/6 not partial.. so is this a mistake by my doc?

As long as he gave you the new corrected prescription with which you are able to see 6/6, Doesn't matter
