My mom is having gastric malt lymphoma.
My mom is having low grade gastric malt lymphoma with no evidence of Carcinoma found (mentioned in Biopsy report) and we consulted Medical Oncologist and they said they will give 2 to 3 chemo to cure it. We want second opinion on it. We want to know side effects of chemo and if and only if chemo is the only option to cure this lymphoma. Can someone please share a second opinion on this. Thank you in advance.

Malt Lymphoma is a low grade slow growing Lymphoma. The treatment depends on many things including stage. You will need to see another Medical Oncologist with all the relevant reports and with patient to seek a second opinion.
