My head was hit
My head was hit to the metal and for two days I had a bump and a purple mark. I did apply ice at first. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether it will leave a scar. I suspect it might because the outer layer of the skin on the purple stain is coming off. It's becoming dry. Will it leave a scar? Especially if the skin comes off?

According to your description . Should not leave a scar..if skin is not damaged.
