My hand's small fingure got injured while playing football.. there is not any fracture x ray done.. there is pain and lots of swelling please suggest.

Apply lots of ice packs and take medication in consultation with your physician Though Xray not showing bone injury Ligaments and soft tissue injuries may need further modalities of imaging if injury does not respond to initial line of treatment
