My daughter is 12 with a eye power of -5
My daughter is 12 years old and she developed eye sight 5 years before. It started with -2.5 and now it's -5.25. When consulted a doctor it was advised that there is no remedy to this as she is growing and depending on her skull and retina growth the eye power also increases. She had an increase in power for a year and now it's changing very rapidl

it seems to be progressive myopia. the only thing can be done is regular use of glasses with biannual check up.
reading at proper distance ie 35 cm and high protein diet.the number is likely to increase upto the age of 20 years
