Den tonic teething syrup. ...Homeopathic Medicine( Alternate medicine). We are Allopathic doctors believe in Evidence based medicine. So really speaking NO IDEA How it works, side effects and efficacy of drug.
Most of the general public think that least side effects having drugs are Homeopathic medicine...but THERE ARE CHILDREN DIED BCZ OF DENTONIC SYRUP, I have endorsed link in helpful tips bcz of belladona composition.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Belladona contains...Atropine and anticholinergic drug properties which will affect on Heart , GIT, Brain , so may have increased Heart rate, Seizures, Constipation, Dryness, Arrhythmias..etc
On homeopathic medicines they mention composition but don't know that they stands for
So feel risky for any individual.
Teething is physiological process doesn't need any medication. JUST U CAN USE FINGER AND DO MASSAGE IF REALLY REQUIRED. OR APPLY TEETH RING.
Taken 1/2 of bottle ..need admission and doctor may ask for 1 - 2 tests and keep in observation as require Heart rate monitoring.
Last but not the least------
Drugs any kind should be kept - out of REACH
It is avoidable risk
Some times it may cause irritability , tachycardia.
If babies are active than ok .
But if doubts - it's better to go nearest Pediatrician, rather wait for symptoms.
