  4. My Child is laughing less. Counselling?

My Child is laughing less
I have 6months baby and she laughs, plays with me, Mom in law and others who visits our place but reacts less to my wife and this is affecting her. Wife is trying everything but baby is not responding much to her. I know that the baby doesn't rationalise but my wife is unable to cop up that her baby is not react to her. Wife feels depressed because of this. Is this common ? is there any medication ? does wife needs counselling?
