My child has suffering from adenoids
My 4years child has adenoids last 2years. and he suffering breathing .at the time of sleeping he suffer more.
bolld test:
ige- 162.8 ui/ml, CRP- 0.28mg/dl,ASO- 04 IU/ml.
ENT suggest go for surgery ...And Others not... what should i do

As a paediatrician,my view is,both adenoids and tonsils are important in defense mechanism of the body,till atleast 8 years of life,and if possible,should be retained till that age.
Of course,this isn't absolute,and varies from case to case.
If nasal block is severe OR in case of of very frequent throat infections OR causing developmental delay,they can be removed.
