My 4 month baby body temperature
Dear Doctors,
My 4 months baby boy body temperature is 93-95. Is it normal?
And his head is hot including scalp but overall body part is cool.
Why are this happening?
He suck his finger anytime in mouth .so I guess this sucking of finger is symptons of teeth.
Please suggest why body temperature is low.
I am very tensed.

If weather is cold keep him warm
Feed him well
Teeth eruption is commonly not there at 4 months
Finger sucking is a habit

Hi.
Check whether your thermometer is working correctly.
Temperature of 93 deg F can be dangerous for the baby. Keep the baby warm.
If baby is not feeding well/ not active or too hot to touch, then check the temperature, otherwise do not bother.
