My 1.5 month baby cord still not got dry
My baby umbilical cord fallen 1 month back but still not got dry, am applying mupirocin ointment but no use consulted pedestrian he said to continue to apply same ointment n tested pus report there is no any infection. Please suggest what I can do get it dry soon .

Stop using any ointment there. Just clean once with little surgical spirit with sterile cotton and let it air dry . Is there is discharge like urine,stool, blood from umbilicus? Any red colour mass in umbilicus? Keep umbilicus dry as much as possible
