Even after the infection settles, the bowel can take a while to recover fully. Just make sure the ‘correct course of antibiotics’ is taken for her infection. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

No you don’t need to worry about it , continue antibiotics until all last dose and can continue enterogermina for another 2 days after antibiotics.
Next Steps
If the mucus continues or is blood tinged after 2-3 days , let your doctor know

Dear Patient, Your mother is improving clinically. Mild mucus in stool can persist for a few days as the intestine heals. Passing stool 2–3 times daily with improved consistency is acceptable. No need to worry if there is: • No blood in stool • No high fever • No severe abdominal pain Complete the antibiotic course and continue probiotics for a few more days. Maintain hydration and light diet. If mucus persists beyond one week or symptoms worsen, stool test may be required. For detailed advice and proper guidance, kindly text me over Practo for full consultation and management.
