Is MRI a good screening test to detect problem with ovaries? I am 25, single and sexually inactive. So I have not undergone transvaginal ultrasound. Just gone through the transabdominal one. Ct scan was also performed. Nothing abnormal as per doctors was detected in previous tests. But my pelvic pain hasn't subsided. Will MRI be effective screening test?

Hello..
Yes mri is effective...but first thing is I need to know what your problem is..I need to know the symptoms..I need to know the detailed history...so it's better you follow up with the gynaecologist...yes mri is the best and effective too...there are as well other tests....thank you
