Provide last year report and ask for comparative report from Diagnostic centre, like status is same or improved or worsened.
Your symptoms are most important to decide the line of treatment. This test is adjunct to decision process.
Prolapse means usually rectal prolapse.
Rectal prolapse usually require surgery to reposition at proper place to avoid complications. Normally rectum doesn't prolapse.

Report mentioned about rectocele which is a kind of descent / prolapse.. Every rectal prolapse doesn't necessarily need surgery only as there are multi modality treatments involved as medical management, lifestyle modifications, biofeedback therapies & regular followup..With all these measures done regularly and properly under guidance, should generally be sufficient in majority of patients to manage with the problem.
Few who doesn't get relief or have major issues , they may need surgery.
