Mole removal
I have a mole near my left eye since last 40 years. Recently i was suggested to get it removed so as to prevent it getting malignant at some time later. As of now no issue. Since it is close to left eye ( about 1/2 inch from it ) what kind of procedure is advisable and what are risks involved ? Thanks.

Greetings. I would need to see the lesion or its picture to opine on what is the best form of procedure for its removal. The photo may be sent on follow up messaging. If its beyond the eye lid margin, should not be troublesome - and a qualified dermatologist who has been doing procedures can remove it - the possible options being - mole punch excision/ radio frequency ablation, etc. Warm regards.
