I took modafinil 200mg a few hours ago...I did sleep as well then and it has no effects on me...I took it for the first time due to excessive sleepiness during the day

Hello dear, Excessive daytime sleepiness could be due to various causes eg. Sleep apnea, night hrs work shift, depression, taking sedatives..etc...So the primary goal is to treat underlying problem...Now if Modafinil is not working in your case ask your doctor to change it (there are other options also.)...Visit a psychiatrist for more help...
