Missing period
Hi .I'm married .my period was on 5th but it got missed I did a pregnancy test ,it was negative and I suffered with severe fever for 2weeks and had urinary tract infection which got solved but still I didn't have my period.any issue?

Hello, Kindly repeat your urine pregnancy test. Also, visit a gynecologist and get a pelvic ultrasound done.

Your menstrual cycle is under hormonal control. The ovary usually releases one egg (ovulation) each month, and about two weeks after, the uterine lining sheds, resulting in menstruation. If the egg is fertilized, it is implanted into the uterus and menstruation does not occur. However, if ovulation does not occur regularly, the body does not send signals to the uterus to regulate menstruation. Stress, jet lag, lack of sleep and too much exercise can disrupt your hormonal balance and cause a change in your usual menstrual cycle..missed period may be due to fever and urinary tract infection...

Pl repeat urine test sometimes late conception can occur..If neagtive..do beta hcg..Wait and consult Gynec if nt happened in next cycle.
