Missed period
Hello I am 23 years old and im missing my periods. Today should be the 8th day of my period But they are not there yet. I havent had a delay like this from the past three years(once i was travelling out of country got delayed by 15 days in the year 2013, last month only 3 days late). I had protected sex earlier this month also I took a pregnancy test it came out negative. What problem am I facing? Will I get my periods anytime soon?

Periods can be affected by stress, travel, weight fluctuation, erratic schedules. Since you had protected sex and pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. Wait for a week more. If you still don't get menses, you will need an ultrasound pelvis and gynaecological assessment

Stress is the second most common cause for missed period. Repeat urine pregnancy test. The result is going to be negative for pregnancy. Relax. You will get periods.
Next Steps
Consult Gynecologist if doubts assail you.
